Our Hakomi sessions are done privately over Zoom.
The Hakomi method is based on Taoist and Buddhist principles, systems theory, and body-centered therapies. States such as mindfulness, loving presence, and empathy are integral to the work.
We'll begin each session by talking together about a situation in your life that you'd like to gain insight on.
As our conversation evolves, assuming enough safety is felt, we'll enter a more mindful space where we can try some small experiments designed to help bring unconscious experiences into conscious awareness.
As we stay with the process, we'll begin to identify a core belief that might be coloring your present-day experience. Then we can work with that belief by moving towards a more nourishing experience in the moment, so that the old belief can transform into a new, more loving and empowering reality.
